Parking can be limited during busy times (especially on a Sunday lunch), so it’s worth parking early or planning a circular walk with the pub as a stop along the way.

The Bull Inn in Ticehurst is a charming and traditional British pub that welcomes dogs. With its open fires and spacious garden, it offers a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Conveniently located near Bewl Water, it’s the perfect spot to visit after a scenic dog walk around the reservoir. The reservoir is about 13 miles all the way round.

The Hatch Inn is nestled in the heart of Ashdown Forest, close to the famous Winnie the Pooh Bridge, making it an ideal spot to explore before enjoying a delicious pub lunch.
